• Receiving and inspecting produce deliveries to ensure that they meet our quality standards.
• Setting up displays and maintaining the appearance of the produce department, ensuring that products are attractively presented and rotated as necessary.
• Providing customer service by answering questions about produce items, helping customers select products, and providing recommendations for recipes or cooking methods.
• Ensuring that products are properly labeled with prices and nutritional information.
• Maintaining inventory levels by monitoring stock and ordering products as needed.
• Keeping the produce department clean and organized, including regularly sweeping and mopping the floors, cleaning displays, and taking out trash.
• Following all safety and health regulations, including proper handling and storage of produce, as well as using equipment safely.
